In the 36th minute Rolf Holst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Koth FC got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Ahlstedt. Rolf Holst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Beckström having to interfere. Dan Beckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Holst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 48 minutes, Michael Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Chaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Andreasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rikard Ahlstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Andreasson in the 52nd minute of play forced Koth FC's goalkeeper Dan Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rikard Ahlstedt struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Börge Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koth FC. Erling Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, F.C. Chaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Andreasson in the 73rd minute of play forced Koth FC's goalkeeper Dan Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Månsson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, F.C. Chaos's Rasmus Moberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Börge Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Norberg in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of F.C. Chaos booed when Koth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Beckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Holst's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rolf Holst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Chaos's Michael Andreasson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Rolf Holst had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Beckström. Koth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Holst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. F.C. Chaos were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
