Fäzayil Cümşüdov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Bure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Kjell Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fäzayil Cümşüdov in the 7th minute. Mattias Uggstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Johnsson in the 9th minute of the match. If Herbert Kluczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Uggstedt having to interfere. FC Thunderhawk's Otto Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattias Uggstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Otto Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Fäzayil Cümşüdov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väderstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fäzayil Cümşüdov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigvard Hybbert charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigvard Hybbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Väderstad BF booed when FC Thunderhawk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Väderstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Kluczyk to maneuver through the defense. Tor Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mattias Uggstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Väderstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Johnsson came free, but Mattias Uggstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Lidberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Uggstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Johnsson in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Johnsson in the 56th minute of play forced Väderstad BF's goalkeeper Mattias Uggstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fäzayil Cümşüdov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Thunderhawk's Karl-Erik Sandberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Väderstad BF. In the 79th match minute, Väderstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fäzayil Cümşüdov to maneuver through the defense. FC Thunderhawk's Kjell Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fäzayil Cümşüdov in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Tor Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thunderhawk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Bergqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otto Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Thunderhawk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
