The Hofors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Andersson should have stopped the shot. In the 20th match minute, Lillkyrka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Thomas Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hofors's Harry Lange got a free kick in the 24th minute. Hofors's Karl-Ove Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Ekberg in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvin Stigsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Andersson was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Thomas Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lillkyrka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Åström should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
