The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Långt-Inkast Pojkarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Arenius to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Fabian Dalman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Långt-Inkast Pojkarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edgar Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mats Ekerot scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Hjälm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Söderlund's late challenge caught a Stenungsund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Söderlund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's Henry Söderlund got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Fabian Dalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Hjälm was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Edgar Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stenungsund's goalkeeper Edgar Hjälm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albin Arenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Långt-Inkast Pojkarna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for August Kihlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Henry Söderlund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Henry Söderlund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Stenungsund booed when Långt-Inkast Pojkarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stenungsund's goalkeeper Edgar Hjälm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Hjälm made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mats Ekerot sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Hjälm was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valdemar Gunnarsson. 64 minutes into the game, Fabian Dalman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stenungsund the free kick. A collision led to Långt-Inkast Pojkarna getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabian Dalman hit a great ball. Mats Ekerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Arenius hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Stenungsund's Folke Stål got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Olof Sandell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mats Ekerot struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Edgar Hjälm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långt-Inkast Pojkarna. Mats Ekerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edgar Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Hjälm was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Mats Ekerot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Ekerot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Mats Ekerot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Edgar Hjälm made a huge save. Stenungsund's Sven-Erik Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stenungsund's goalkeeper Edgar Hjälm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Långt-Inkast Pojkarna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
