After a defensive mix-up in Tänndalen IFK's zone, Henry Söderlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Skytt came out of the goal and Henry Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Oskar Skytt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Ekerot in the 5th minute. Per-Oskar Skytt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Dalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Hubert Tinglöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tänndalen IFK and the Långt-Inkast Pojkarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Tänndalen IFK got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Tinglöv. If Henry Söderlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Fabian Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Dalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Eskilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ted Persson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's Wilhelm Finsberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. Carl Biörnberg's late challenge caught a Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Biörnberg helped the player get up and apologised. Carl Biörnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The long shot by Olof Sandell in the 33rd minute really tested Per-Oskar Skytt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 minutes, Sten Eskilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tänndalen IFK and the Långt-Inkast Pojkarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Långt-Inkast Pojkarna booed when Tänndalen IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Eskilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Mats Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Ekerot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Dalman struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Per-Oskar Skytt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långt-Inkast Pojkarna. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Eskilsson to make the kick off. Per-Oskar Skytt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Ekerot in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tänndalen IFK's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Skytt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Sten Eskilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gabriel Ekström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's Albin Arenius got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ingmar Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's Mats Ekerot got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Henry Söderlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Oskar Skytt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 79th match minute, Långt-Inkast Pojkarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Sandell to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Tänndalen IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Dalman came free, but Per-Oskar Skytt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Sten Eskilsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Långt-Inkast Pojkarna getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Olof Sandell hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Tänndalen IFK's Michel Hedström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ingmar Sundberg's late challenge caught a Långt-Inkast Pojkarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
