Dan Ekgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Ekgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Gregersson in the 40th minute. Batman FC's Dan Ekgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Gregersson in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Sonny Nordin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bänknötarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Dan Ekgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dan Ekgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Che went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Ivar Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Ekgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Batman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Nordin came free, but Dan Ekgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Ekgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dan Ekgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. 93 minutes into the match, Sonny Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Ekgren. Batman FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1.
