The referee ignored Åtvidaberg BF's protests and gave Lukas Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Åtvidaberg BF got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Stenkvist. The supporters of Rays Boom Boom booed when Åtvidaberg BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Stenkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Don Dogan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Rays Boom Boom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Dogan couldn't finish the play. If Edvin Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Edmund Ekeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åtvidaberg BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Ekeberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Åtvidaberg BF's Leonardo Bjurström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Beckström. Kåre Beckström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The long shot by Per-Erik Stabbe in the 25th minute really tested Kåre Beckström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sakarias Asmundsson's late challenge caught a Åtvidaberg BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakarias Asmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. Alvin Gustafsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Håkansson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kåre Beckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Bjurström in the 43rd minute of the match. If Edvin Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Don Dogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rays Boom Boom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Dogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Bjurström to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rays Boom Boom getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. William Dogan hit a great ball. Edmund Ekeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Håkansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvin Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Gustafsson having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Edmund Ekeberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åtvidaberg BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jonathan Carlsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Åtvidaberg BF got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Stenkvist. 70 minutes into the match, Rays Boom Boom's Edvin Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvin Gustafsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvin Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Dogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edvin Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
