The ball went over the crossbar instead. Malcolm Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimmy Billström fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haverdal FK's protests and gave Jimmy Billström a yellow card for diving instead. Scania IF's Malcolm Runberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Haverdal FK's Herbert Fristedt got a free kick in the 38th minute. Egil Larsfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Runberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Haverdal FK's goalkeeper Egil Larsfält had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Ersman. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludwig Salkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Dennis Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egil Larsfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Runberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Albin Ersman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scania IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Ersman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Larsfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albin Ersman in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Larsfält saved Haverdal FK from getting behind. Allan Ahlerot kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Scania IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. Eric Mellbad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Åkerström in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Haverdal FK's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Ersman came free, but Egil Larsfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Runberg in the 84th minute of play forced Haverdal FK's goalkeeper Egil Larsfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Malcolm Runberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haverdal FK's Egil Larsfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albin Ersman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Larsfält read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Malcolm Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Albin Ersman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scania IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
