The Rottneros RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 5 minutes into the game, Sven Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rottneros RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jyväskylä FF the free kick. Sven Holmgren hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thor Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Åkesson in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Rottneros RK's Malcolm Aspengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thor Hultstrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thor Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Holmgren in the 11th minute of play. Jyväskylä FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Holmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jyväskylä FF's Thor Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Aspengren in the 24th minute of play. Thor Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Aspengren in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Ragnar Vallgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Thor Hultstrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Lägdin got free with Thor Hultstrand in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Rottneros RK's Malcolm Aspengren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Jonny Lägdin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-9 to the left of a surprised Thor Hultstrand 81 minutes into the match. Jonny Lägdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Thor Hultstrand made a huge save. Jyväskylä FF's Thor Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Aspengren in the 91st minute of play. Jyväskylä FF's Thor Hultstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Jyväskylä FF from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes Rottneros RK got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Vallgren. Rottneros RK played a much better game than Jyväskylä FF and deserved their victory. The Jyväskylä FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
