Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. 范晨宁 started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Överlida's Emanuel Eriksson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3rd play minutes Mattias Svahn shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Emanuel Ström and just under the crossbar into goal. Charlie Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Sjöö in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Mattias Svahn made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Överlida's Emanuel Ström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximilian Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Mattias Svahn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Ström was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Emanuel Ström came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Standford FC's 范晨宁. But to his dismay, 范晨宁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Emanuel Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egidijus Račys in the 31st minute of play. Standford FC's Egidijus Račys got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Ström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Apelqvist went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, 范晨宁 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Standford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Apelqvist in the 46th minute of play forced Överlida's goalkeeper Emanuel Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Standford FC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Strandberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Överlida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Emanuel Ström managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Standford FC's Mattias Svahn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuel Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilbert Apelqvist in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Gilbert Apelqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Emanuel Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Falkrantz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Överlida booed when Standford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Överlida got a freekick which was hit by Göran Sjöö. In the 76th minute 范晨宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes Överlida got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Engström. Mattias Svahn came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Ström could save by the left post. Emanuel Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Överlida's Elias Joensson got a free kick in the 81st minute. 范晨宁 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Överlida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Krister Tönnberg scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Ström, making the score, 1-12. In the 90th minute, Emanuel Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Charlie Karlstedt. Standford FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-12. Krister Tönnberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emanuel Ström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Charlie Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Strandberg in the 95th minute of play. Överlida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Gilbert Apelqvist scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Ström, making the score, 2-13. When the match was over Standford FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Överlida throughout the match.
