Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Otto Malmström made the kick off which started today's match. When Yngve Ahlbeck came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Knislinge BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yngve Ahlbeck couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute of the match, Yngve Ahlbeck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Ola Andreasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ove Nord blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ragnar Rydelius having to make a save. Ove Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ragnar Rydelius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Rydelius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Malmström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ove Nord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ragnar Rydelius. Knislinge BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Nord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Knislinge BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC Wimbledon:s goal. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for AFC Wimbledon. Nils Jernberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ragnar Rydelius. 0-2. Jens-Ola Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jens-Ola Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Ahlbeck in the 38th minute of play. Jens-Ola Andreasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yngve Ahlbeck's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jens-Ola Andreasson was a little too slow when John Ahlkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to Knislinge BF getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Claes Landin hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon's Nils Jernberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yngve Ahlbeck was the one to do the kick off. AFC Wimbledon's Jens-Ola Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Ahlbeck in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Jerry Tidéksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yngve Ahlbeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Landin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Andreasson having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Ola Brenner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ola Andreasson skillfully saved the ball. Jens-Ola Andreasson came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Knislinge BF's Claes Landin. But to his dismay, Claes Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 84 minutes into the game, Otto Malmström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Wimbledon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knislinge BF the free kick. A collision led to AFC Wimbledon getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Otto Malmström hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Jerry Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knislinge BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Jernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. AFC Wimbledon's Jens-Ola Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Tidéksson in the 88th minute of play. Jens-Erik Arhenius hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Jerry Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knislinge BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFC Wimbledon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
