Alfons Blixt's late challenge caught a Gästrike-hammarby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Blixt helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Blixt in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arie van Rijswijk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Hampus Burman made a precise shot to the right of Arie van Rijswijk. Gästrike-hammarby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 26 minutes into the game, Daniel Ek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jens-Ola Abrahamsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmund Hylander got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zebastian Söderström. After having played for 48 minutes, Edmund Hylander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skivarp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Hylander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hampus Burman made a kick off. Arie van Rijswijk made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Helge Nyman sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Olsson in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Abrahamsson saved Skivarp IF from getting behind. When Gästrike-hammarby's Gösta Olsson in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skivarp IF's goalie prevented a goal. Arie van Rijswijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Nyman in the 73rd minute. Hampus Burman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arie van Rijswijk came out and tried to block the shot, but Hampus Burman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Jens-Ola Abrahamsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Olsson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Skivarp IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skivarp IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
