GIF Nike:s Manfred Giöck showed great skill when he stopped Carl Svanér:s penalty. Håkan Soned scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfred Giöck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tom Askberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kjell Stensson. After the first half Nättraby IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Håkan Soned made the kick off in the second half. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. Nättraby IK played a much better game than GIF Nike and deserved their victory. The GIF Nike players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
