But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Åhman couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Eddie Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, BRAVIDA CF's goalkeeper Pål Haegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Norström. Pål Haegg was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Pontus Norström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pontus Norström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Urban Åhman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Haegg. The goal made the score 2-0. Urban Åhman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Sillhuvet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 16 minutes into the match, BRAVIDA CF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Bjurström came free, but Pål Haegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Pontus Norström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Haegg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jonny Wållander's late challenge caught a Sillhuvet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Wållander helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BRAVIDA CF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonny Wållander hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Pontus Norström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Haegg. BRAVIDA CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pontus Norström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konrad Sandström made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Bjurström during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Sillhuvet got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Bjurström. Pål Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Åhman in the 53rd minute of the match. Sillhuvet's Max Hägglund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jarl Hjortsberg in the 57 minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Max Hägglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Haegg was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Urban Åhman scored 8-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Haegg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 minutes of play, Sillhuvet's Urban Åhman made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Haegg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pål Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Bjurström in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, BRAVIDA CF's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Åhman came free, but Pål Haegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BRAVIDA CF defense, Urban Åhman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Haegg. The BRAVIDA CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Haegg should have stopped the shot.
