Walter Brillante didn't quite understand what happened when in the 11 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bengt Klementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dinu Mutu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Tham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Brillante in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲烽升 in the 23rd minute of play forced Landvetter FC's goalkeeper Rickard Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Landvetter FC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Smed. In the 27th minute, Walter Brillante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Äppelbo BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Bergfeldt in the 30th minute of play forced Landvetter FC's goalkeeper Rickard Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Landvetter FC's Bengt Klementsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Äppelbo BK's Jens Mattsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bengt Klementsson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 38 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Jens Mattsson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Äppelbo BK's protests and gave Jens Mattsson a yellow card for diving instead. Dinu Mutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蔡昂建 in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rickard Tham made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Karl-Åke Sjögren sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Äppelbo BK's Walter Brillante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 58 minutes into the game, Walter Brillante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rickard Tham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rickard Tham was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Walter Brillante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walter Brillante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After 65 minutes of play, Landvetter FC's Bengt Klementsson made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinu Mutu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rickard Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Brillante, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nils-Emil Västberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Mutu having to interfere. Rickard Tham was a little too slow when Walter Brillante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Åke Sjögren got free with Rickard Tham in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Smed in the 78th minute of play forced Äppelbo BK's goalkeeper Dinu Mutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Landvetter FC got a corner. Äppelbo BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Klementsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bengt Klementsson made a great header on Landvetter FC's corner, it was just that Äppelbo BK's Dinu Mutu managed to reach the ball for a save. Rickard Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曲烽升 in the 81st minute of the match. Walter Brillante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rickard Tham made a huge save. With 88 minutes on the clock, Henry Smed commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 89th match minute, Landvetter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Smed to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Walter Brillante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Äppelbo BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Brillante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 曲烽升 struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rickard Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Äppelbo BK.
