The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, FC Dahlens's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Sandberg came free, but Oskar Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Skene IF's Jerry Vennerström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oskar Damm. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. If Brian Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Sandberg in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Damm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Brian Sandberg sped through FC Dahlens's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oskar Damm. If Håkan Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Brian Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Damm was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rdth minute of the game Brian Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dahlens's Oskar Damm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brian Sandberg had several of the FC Dahlens's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Oskar Damm as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Kåre Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oskar Damm came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Skene IF's Brian Sandberg. But to his dismay, Brian Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With his leg Oskar Damm managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Skene IF's Brian Sandberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oskar Damm didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Skene IF's Brian Sandberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Brian Sandberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oskar Damm came out and tried to block the shot, but Brian Sandberg slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Sandberg was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kåre Kilstedt got free with Sverker Fribäck in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Edvard Rosén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, FC Dahlens's Edvard Rosén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverker Fribäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edvard Rosén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskar Damm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Deckberg went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Oskar Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Sandberg in the 72nd minute of play. Brian Sandberg succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. The audience was convinced that Håkan Deckberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Damm was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Håkan Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Sandberg in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Damm saved FC Dahlens from getting behind. Sverker Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Rosén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, FC Dahlens's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Sandberg came free, but Oskar Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Skene IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
