Bernt Tunander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Klementsson's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. La Håsta's Jozef Polgár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hjeltman in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joel Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linghem's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Hjeltman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jozef Polgár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, La Håsta's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hjeltman came free, but Jozef Polgár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gustav Beckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linghem's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Beckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jozef Polgár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Klementsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Bernt Tunander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Linghem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Kruse to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Hjeltman made the kick off in the second half. La Håsta's Jozef Polgár proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save La Håsta from getting a goal against them. Bernt Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Klementsson in the 58th minute of the match. If Jan Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sakarias Alebeck fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linghem's protests and gave Sakarias Alebeck a yellow card for diving instead. Sakarias Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Linghem got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Flink. 75 minutes into the match, Linghem's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Klementsson came free, but Bernt Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute La Håsta were awarded a corner. Jan Smefeldt went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Smefeldt made a great header on La Håsta's corner, it was just that Linghem's Bernt Tunander managed to reach the ball for a save. Joel Hjeltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jozef Polgár made a huge save. La Håsta's Andy Rudberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dag Löfdahl, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 89th match minute, La Håsta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. Jan Smefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linghem's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
