The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Börje Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Ahlroth having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Tjörnarp RK's Börje Torstensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Ahlroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Ahlroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Torstensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Själevad FF got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Strömberg. After a defensive mix-up in Själevad FF's zone, Gustav Alströmmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Ahlroth came out of the goal and Gustav Alströmmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustav Alströmmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Ahlroth having to interfere. Karl Siggman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Rydberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Strömberg got free with Paul Rydberg in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Börje Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Ahlroth having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Själevad FF got a freekick which was hit by David Sundberg. Börje Torstensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Casper Ahlroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Ahlroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

If Gustav Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Överman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dan Tunström struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Casper Ahlroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjörnarp RK. 65 minutes into the match, Tjörnarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Strömberg came free, but Paul Rydberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Hammarberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, one of Tjörnarp RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, David Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Själevad FF's supporters rose to their feet, but David Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Rydberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börje Torstensson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Ahlroth came out and tried to block the shot, but Börje Torstensson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 78th minute. Tjörnarp RK's Paul Rydberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Siggman in the 84th minute of play. Paul Rydberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes, Eric Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Själevad FF and the Tjörnarp RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Själevad FF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
