Hannes Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Joachim Myr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Granqvist in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Myr saved Cartmans Soldater from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bertil Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Granqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Myr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertil Granqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Myr having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bertil Granqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joachim Myr was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Cartmans Soldater getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arman Bogren hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Hammarby IF's Elliot Ahlberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joachim Myr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hammarby IF reached it. Cartmans Soldater's Joachim Myr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fajar Adnyana in the 43rd minute of play. Bertil Granqvist struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Joachim Myr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby IF. After having played for 48 minutes, Bertil Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Granqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Granqvist made a kick off. In the 65th minute, Hammarby IF's Hannes Bredberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. When Bertil Granqvist came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Granqvist couldn't finish the play. Gösta Lindström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bertil Granqvist hit a great ball. Hammarby IF played a much better game than Cartmans Soldater and deserved their victory. The Cartmans Soldater players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
