He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boliden IFK reached it. After a rather tough play, Säffle FK's Ulrik Hultman got a free kick in the 14th minute. Alfons Svanér struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Håkan Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boliden IFK. Håkan Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kosan Čović took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Sjögren. Håkan Sjögren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Niceto Errapel came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Boliden IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Errapel couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Jonathan Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Säffle FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Skålberg came free, but Håkan Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Emil Matsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Magnusson. Boliden IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Matsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Boliden IFK's Jonathan Skålberg got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Berglund was the one to do the kick off. Alfons Svanér fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Sjögren having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jonathan Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boliden IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Skålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Sjögren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Boliden IFK's Alfons Svanér ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Håkan Sjögren. Håkan Sjögren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Ivan Levander struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Håkan Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boliden IFK. In the 64th minute, Alfons Svanér made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Sjögren. Säffle FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 76 minutes into the game, Alfons Svanér lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Håkan Sjögren. A collision led to Säffle FK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ulrik Hultman hit a great ball.
