Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexander Wallman kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Alexander Wallman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mölndal IF's Carl Mikaelsson. Carl Mikaelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Mark Lomas made a precise shot to the right of Carl Mikaelsson. Mölndal IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Carl Mikaelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Karlsson having to interfere. Carl Mikaelsson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Academy's Alexander Wallman. But to his dismay, Alexander Wallman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 21st minute 顾霆磊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Mikaelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Lomas in the 22nd minute of play forced Mölndal IF's goalkeeper Carl Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Hedkvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Mölndal IF's Ture Paulin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kåre Karlsson. Carl Mikaelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Lomas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pihlwall in the 34th minute of play forced Academy's goalkeeper Kåre Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Gadd got free with Kåre Karlsson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Mark Lomas made a precise shot to the right of Carl Mikaelsson. Mölndal IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Gadd in the 42nd minute of play forced Academy's goalkeeper Kåre Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Bammerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academy's Kåre Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Academy from getting a goal against them. Mark Lomas charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Lomas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mölndal IF booed when Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Lomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mölndal IF's Ture Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Gadd in the 63rd minute of play forced Academy's goalkeeper Kåre Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Mark Lomas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Academy's zone, Adam Pihlwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Karlsson came out of the goal and Adam Pihlwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Wallman hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Lomas in the 78th minute of play forced Mölndal IF's goalkeeper Carl Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Mikaelsson was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Mark Lomas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Lomas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. 顾霆磊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Mikaelsson having to interfere. Carl Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Mölndal IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Lomas came free, but Carl Mikaelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Academy's Kåre Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Paulin in the 96th minute of play. Carl Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Lomas in the 97th minute of play. Academy played a much better game than Mölndal IF and deserved their victory. The Mölndal IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
