In the 45th minute, Aurelien Bironneau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Älvsjö AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim de Brito was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Älvsjö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Per-Arne Ström came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Älvsjö AIK's Bo-Erik Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Bo-Erik Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Frans Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Joaquim de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Joaquim de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älvsjö AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Arne Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Älvsjö AIK's Bo-Erik Tinglöv got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Älvsjö AIK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AIK.
