Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arne Granström made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute Arne Granström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Fridlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Forserum's Rune Åström got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Forserum's zone, Valdomiro Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Sörman came out of the goal and Valdomiro Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sparreholm defense, Casper Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Fridlund. The Sparreholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Fridlund should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Forserum's zone, Simon Uggstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Sörman came out of the goal and Simon Uggstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Georg Byström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparreholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forserum the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Sparreholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Byström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Gustavsson got free with Johan Fridlund in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Uggstedt in the 43rd minute of play forced Forserum's goalkeeper Dick Sörman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Arne Granström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kazimierz Kostka to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Deckbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forserum's goalkeeper Dick Sörman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Granström in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Fridlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dick Sörman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jens-Ove Svartengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimierz Kostka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dick Sörman made a huge save. Johan Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. During the 81st minute of the match Georg Byström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Georg Byström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sparreholm getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Georg Byström hit a great ball. Karl-Ove Hernström struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Johan Fridlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
