Kevin Samuelsson succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 10th minute, Agne Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingemar Sandberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Agne Axelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingemar Sandberg having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Samuelsson got free with Ingemar Sandberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingemar Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Alin in the 18th minute of play. Kevin Samuelsson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Valdemar Giöck made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Ekström. Stoby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Stoby getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tommy Kullander hit a great ball. Albert Söderström hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ingemar Sandberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andy Forssell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 28 minute of play. The supporters of Stoby booed when Tallheden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Hamnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Giöck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tallheden getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Valdemar Giöck hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Agne Axelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingemar Sandberg was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Andy Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Stoby's Kevin Samuelsson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Agne Axelsson notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Tallheden's Ingemar Sandberg. Ingemar Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Samuelsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Valdemar Giöck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kurt Ekström. The goal made the score 7-2. Valdemar Giöck struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Kurt Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tallheden. Ingemar Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andy Forssell went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Valdemar Giöck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ekström having to interfere. Isac Alin took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingemar Sandberg. Ingemar Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-2. In the 97th minute of the match Karl Mårtensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingemar Sandberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Isac Alin notched a goal, 10-2, to the right of Tallheden's Ingemar Sandberg. Ingemar Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stoby's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
