An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ahlbom in the 13th minute of play forced Blueskattens IF's goalkeeper Johnny Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Leif Wennerquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugnvik RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mark Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Lugnvik RK's Leif Wennerquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 34th match minute, Lugnvik RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Hellström to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Andreasson in the 37th minute of the match. If Jerry Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Hellström hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Alvar Bäcklin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Zachrisson went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Blueskattens IF's Jerry Arvidsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Lugnvik RK's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Arvidsson came free, but Alvar Bäcklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lugnvik RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blueskattens IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
