The Stivale FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Ekström should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Broakulla FK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Phillip Riley hit a great ball. David Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Andy Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Stivale FC defense, Andy Gustafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Ekström. The Stivale FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Ekström should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Gustafsson in the 39th minute of play forced Stivale FC's goalkeeper David Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Östensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Otto Holm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 43rd play minutes Sven-Olof Östensson shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Otto Holm and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Broakulla FK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andy Gustafsson made the kick off in the second half. Per Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Holm having to interfere. Broakulla FK made a substitution. Nicklas Borre replaced Fredrik Wenerdahl. The throw-in from Uno Lindberg in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Broakulla FK's Nicklas Borre. Andy Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ekström having to interfere. A collision led to Stivale FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. John Vallander hit a great ball. Otto Holm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Östensson went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. David Ekström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phillip Riley in the 69th minute. In the 89th minute, Broakulla FK's Andy Gustafsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Ekström. David Ekström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After having played for 94 minutes, Sven-Olof Östensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stivale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Östensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Broakulla FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Broakulla FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
