The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Kilstedt got free with Karl-Erik Duset in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekshärad FK's Karl-Erik Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Björklund in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, BoomBaby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alketas Georgatos came free, but Fran De Paula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Ekshärad FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, BoomBaby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Bolander to maneuver through the defense. Ekshärad FK's Karl-Erik Duset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ekshärad FK from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, BoomBaby FC's Per-Oskar Viklund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Karl-Erik Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Cebrian in the 35th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Duset was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Felipe Cebrian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Cebrian really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Ove Kilstedt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Erik Duset. The goal made the score 4-0. Ove Kilstedt scored 5-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Duset, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alketas Georgatos to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Felipe Cebrian sped through Ekshärad FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Duset. Karl-Erik Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Cebrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of BoomBaby FC booed when Ekshärad FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Hedman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ekshärad FK's zone, Jimmie Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Duset came out of the goal and Jimmie Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmie Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Karl-Erik Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Felipe Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BoomBaby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Cebrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekshärad FK's Karl-Erik Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Kilstedt in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alketas Georgatos in the 69th minute of play forced BoomBaby FC's goalkeeper Fran De Paula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, BoomBaby FC's Ove Kilstedt made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Erik Duset was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ekshärad FK's Bo Lagerberg was substituted for Per-Åke Andberg. In the 78th minute Felipe Cebrian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, BoomBaby FC's Ove Kilstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Erik Duset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Oskar Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekshärad FK made a substitution. Alfons Heggert replaced Bo Lagerberg.
