After a rather tough play, ΠAOK's Hubert Klack got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime de Carvalho in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yngve Telin saved ΠAOK from getting behind. Yngve Telin stood somewhat misplaced when Bernt Göransson came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. A collision led to The ting goes skrrrttt getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ennio Lauri hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Mikael Groth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but August Nyqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Yngve Telin managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when The ting goes skrrrttt's Bernt Göransson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ΠAOK's Hubert Klack got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bernt Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Göransson in the 34th minute of play forced ΠAOK's goalkeeper Yngve Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΠAOK's Yngve Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Göransson in the 36th minute of play. Gottfrid Damm took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yngve Telin. Yngve Telin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bernt Göransson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yngve Telin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The ting goes skrrrttt. In the 47th minute, Gottfrid Damm made a precise shot to the right of Yngve Telin. ΠAOK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Göransson made a kick off. Yngve Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Göransson in the 54th minute of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Bernt Göransson sped through ΠAOK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yngve Telin. After having played for 63 minutes, Bernt Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 71st match minute, ΠAOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ΠAOK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Torgny Ahlström hit a great ball. Bernt Göransson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Yngve Telin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The ting goes skrrrttt. 75 minutes into the game, The ting goes skrrrttt's Bernt Göransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yngve Telin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The supporters of ΠAOK booed when The ting goes skrrrttt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Lauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olof Persson came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the The ting goes skrrrttt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Persson couldn't finish the play. Yngve Telin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Göransson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Karl-Erik Skager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Telin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bernt Göransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Telin was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
