After 7 played minutes Insjön BK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Gunnarsson. Michael Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Esbjörn Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Philip Mellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Sjögren. Power House's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Mellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Leif Albom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Insjön BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 18th minute of the match, Michael Backman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Esbjörn Rosen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leif Albom kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Carl Haström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Boberg in the 36th minute of play. Michael Backman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Rosen made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Insjön BK's Göran Gunnarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Sjögren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Power House players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Insjön BK were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Albom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rickard Lägdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Rosin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Power House's Thomas Sjögren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Power House from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Boberg in the 61st minute of play forced Insjön BK's goalkeeper Esbjörn Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Leif Albom fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Mellberg got free with Thomas Sjögren in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Power House's Thomas Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Albom in the 75th minute of play. Insjön BK were furious when Gunnar Öman was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Insjön BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Power House. Christoffer Sellberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Esbjörn Rosen. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Mellberg got free with Thomas Sjögren in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Michael Backman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Haström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Rosen having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Power House's goalkeeper Thomas Sjögren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Mellberg.
