Spectators: 7051 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Tibro's Hans Sundström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herman Östman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Arne Falkrans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Harry Asplund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Falkrans having to interfere. In the 24th minute Mikael Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Falkrans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Mikael Ekeroth rounded Tibro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After 28 minutes, Hans Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibro and the Smyg Kommunisternas FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Tibro got a freekick which was hit by Hans Sundström. Hans Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gösta Dalström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikael Ekeroth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Per-Arne Falkrans. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Ekeroth to make the kick off. When Karl-Axel Andersson fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibro's protests and gave Karl-Axel Andersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Karl-Axel Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Per-Arne Falkrans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Ekeroth in the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Tibro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Gösta Dalström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Ekeroth in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Arne Falkrans saved Tibro from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mikael Ekeroth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Arne Falkrans was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Harry Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hans Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Dalström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Sundström in the 90th minute of the match. Elof Myhr hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Harry Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Tibro's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tibro may have spent more time on the ball, but Smyg Kommunisternas FF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
