Henry Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Holger Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Rickard Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holger Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alvar Granberg hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rickard Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Strömberg having to interfere. Jens-Ola Hagberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Gottfrid Sandberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Jonasson in the 17th minute of play forced Valla IF's goalkeeper Gottfrid Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Söderqwist in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Malcolm Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tyringe booed when Valla IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valla IF's Rickard Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Tyringe got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Thedin. 37 minutes into the match, Tyringe's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Lundblad came free, but Holger Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tyringe's Gottfrid Sandberg threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Staffan Finman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Holger Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Strömberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Holger Rosén went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Finman got free with Gottfrid Sandberg in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Lundblad to make the kick off. Holger Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Lundblad in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, one of Valla IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute, Wilhelm Bergqvist made a precise shot to the right of Gottfrid Sandberg. Valla IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rickard Paulin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Holger Strömberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Malcolm Björk hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Henry Lundblad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Holger Strömberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Lundblad slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tyringe's zone, Rickard Paulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Strömberg came out of the goal and Rickard Paulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gottfrid Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Finman in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Wilhelm Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Valla IF booed when Tyringe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Finman in the 90th minute of play forced Valla IF's goalkeeper Gottfrid Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Christoffer Engström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Valla IF's Gottfrid Sandberg. Gottfrid Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
