The supporters of Floda booed when The Flying Hellfish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Blomberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dariusz Zawadzki. The Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Floda's goalkeeper Erik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Stenström. If Pål Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Stenströms short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Erik Linqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Winström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Floda defense, Pål Stenström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Linqvist. The Floda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Linqvist should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Floda's zone, Knut Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Linqvist came out of the goal and Knut Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Zawadzki made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mårten Tingelholm sent off a good shot on target. Erik Linqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pål Stenström went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Knut Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Floda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. If Knut Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Floda's Kaj Blomberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Dariusz Zawadzki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute Knut Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Pål Stenström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Erik Linqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mårten Tingelholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Zawadzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
