Broby FK's Karl-Erik Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Kaxe in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Broby FK's Anthon Wennersten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Paul Billing kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Astana FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Håkan Britz hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Anthon Wennersten rounded Astana FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. 34 minutes into the game, Astana FC's Håkan Eklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Erik Malmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Roger Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Wennersten in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Claes Karlsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Erik Malmberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Wennersten in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

After 56 minutes of play, Broby FK's Anthon Wennersten made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Astana FC's goal looked a bit too open when József Tolnay came free, but Roger Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
