The ball went over the crossbar instead. Birger Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With his leg Johannes Blom managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Bor RK's Boris Blomqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fritz Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Johannes Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Bäcklin having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Ahlkvist IK got a freekick which was hit by Birger Wallengren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Söderström in the 30th minute of play forced Ahlkvist IK's goalkeeper Johannes Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Servet İlbeyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Bäcklin having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Boris Blomqvist from a close distance when the talented Johannes Blom managed to make a qualified save. Ahlkvist IK's players were relieved. Boris Blomqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Johannes Blom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Bor RK's goal looked a bit too open when Servet İlbeyi came free, but Ove Bäcklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tord Grubb to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Claes Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Boris Blomqvist came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bor RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Blomqvist couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ahlkvist IK's Servet İlbeyi got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fritz Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Blom having to interfere. Joar Hagström's late challenge caught a Bor RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joar Hagström helped the player get up and apologised. Joar Hagström kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Grubb in the 67th minute of play forced Bor RK's goalkeeper Ove Bäcklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bor RK booed when Ahlkvist IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Servet İlbeyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Boris Blomqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Blom. Ahlkvist IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Blomqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ahlkvist IK's Johannes Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Blomqvist in the 81st minute of play. Boris Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Johannes Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bor RK. After a rather tough play, Ahlkvist IK's Tord Grubb got a free kick in the 87th minute. Johannes Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Blomqvist in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Bor RK's Boris Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 95 minutes into the match, Fritz Söderström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Blom. Ahlkvist IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fritz Söderström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Bor RK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
