Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mats Rang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ingmar Dahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Snesudden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Dahlbom couldn't finish the play. Björn Barck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Åhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Dahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Barck having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Dahlbom in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Barck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Lima IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Björnsson came free, but Björn Barck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Barck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Åhlberg in the 46th minute of play. When Pontus Wallin fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snesudden's protests and gave Pontus Wallin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lima IF booed when Snesudden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Måns Berg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Åhlberg was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Snesudden got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Drake. Måns Berg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mats Rang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima IF. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Tommy Åhlberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Björn Barck to make any attempt to save it. In the 65thth minute of the game Tommy Åhlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lima IF's Björn Barck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björn Barck made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ingmar Dahlbom sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Ingmar Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Dahlbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Barck having to make a save. In the 77th match minute, Snesudden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Wallin to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Måns Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tommy Åhlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Barck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Åhlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Måns Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
