When Sutan Suherman came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the TEAM PLÄP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sutan Suherman couldn't finish the play. Bror Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sutan Suherman in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Malte Wallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bror Wästerberg was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 45 minutes into the game, Per Törnqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anthon Vase. Per Törnqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Bock made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM PLÄP's zone, Per Törnqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthon Vase came out of the goal and Per Törnqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sutan Suherman in the 60th minute of play forced Smålandsstenar BF's goalkeeper Bror Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TEAM PLÄP booed when Smålandsstenar BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Groth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Smålandsstenar BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sutan Suherman came free, but Bror Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sutan Suherman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bror Wästerberg was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Anthon Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Smålandsstenar BF's Bror Wästerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Smålandsstenar BF from getting a goal against them. Sutan Suherman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bror Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Evert Bock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Anthon Vase was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute Evert Bock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kenny Stenkvist fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEAM PLÄP's protests and gave Kenny Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Kenny Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Smålandsstenar BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while TEAM PLÄP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
