Filip Alstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikael Kjellkvist came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Åstorp RK's Ragnar Norberg. But to his dismay, Ragnar Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Michael Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Filip Alstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billerud AIS's Thor Wallman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witomir Witek during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Billerud AIS's Witomir Witek got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Ragnar Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Kjellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Åstorp RK fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Åstorp RK's Ragnar Norberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Caspersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Åstorp RK's zone, Thor Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Alstedt came out of the goal and Thor Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Filip Alstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Johannes Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åstorp RK's protests and gave Johannes Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Åstorp RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Billerud AIS:s goal. Filip Alstedt had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Harry Näver's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Åstorp RK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kurt Ekblom hit a great ball. If Thor Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Caspersson in the 71st minute of play forced Billerud AIS's goalkeeper Mikael Kjellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Billerud AIS's goalkeeper Mikael Kjellkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Ekblom. In the 81stth minute of the game Michael Vibjörnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åstorp RK's Filip Alstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Vibjörnsson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Alstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Michael Vibjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Alstedt was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Thor Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Vibjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Filip Alstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billerud AIS. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
