A collision led to Billerud AIS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Harry Näver hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Michael Vibjörnsson could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. Thor Wallman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmie Andberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Kjellkvist saved Billerud AIS from getting behind. David Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Domingo Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Åkesson having to interfere. Domingo Mederi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Åkesson having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Billerud AIS's Michael Vibjörnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Åkesson. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. David Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Wallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Greger Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Billerud AIS got a freekick which was hit by Michael Vibjörnsson. Thor Wallman struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. David Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billerud AIS. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Michael Vibjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Thor Wallman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Thor Wallman put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Åkesson. Edvard Nordlund hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. David Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Wallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Domingo Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Åkesson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Billerud AIS's Michael Vibjörnsson. But to his dismay, Michael Vibjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 87 minutes into the match, Billerud AIS's Domingo Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Michael Vibjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thor Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Mederi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. David Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Billerud AIS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
