In the 17th play minute Joel Lägdin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thanos Lineos. 2-1. Hälsö's Thanos Lineos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Ekblom in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Hälsö getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jonas Håkansson hit a great ball. Patrik Malmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Jucha in the 23rd minute of the match. Hälsö's Thanos Lineos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Igelström in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Palmer during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mighty Midgets United's Joshua Palmer got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanos Lineos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Ekblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars-Erik Billvall to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hälsö's goalkeeper Thanos Lineos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Andréas Ekblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanos Lineos. Hälsö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andréas Ekblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Thanos Lineos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Ekblom in the 59th minute of the match. Joel Lägdin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanos Lineos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Szczepan Jucha came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patrik Malmgren could save by the left post. After 72 minutes, Andréas Ekblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mighty Midgets United and the Hälsö players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mighty Midgets United's Andréas Ekblom got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanos Lineos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Ekblom in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Igelström in the 84th minute of play forced Hälsö's goalkeeper Thanos Lineos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Lineos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-3. Mighty Midgets United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
