In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bålsta's goalkeeper Björn Brummer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isak Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Söderquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Verner Tinglöv notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bålsta's Björn Brummer. Björn Brummer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Bålsta's zone, Verner Tinglöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Brummer came out of the goal and Verner Tinglöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Simon Nyström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Björn Brummer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Nyström in the 28th minute of play forced Bålsta's goalkeeper Björn Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Verner Tinglöv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Wicks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Tinglöv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egil Bratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Isak Andersson made a huge save. Björn Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Hellström in the 41st minute of the match. Isak Andersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Bratt in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, The Wicks's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Rosendahl came free, but Isak Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Nyström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Wicks's Isak Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Nilsson in the 54th minute of play. Isak Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Bratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Olov Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simon Nyström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 90th minute, Bålsta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Billberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th minute Egil Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Karl Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isak Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bålsta fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Wicks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
