Börge Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Pihlgren having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Bokelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vidar Hybbert was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 21 minutes, Leonardo Bokelund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandared IFK and the Vemdalen FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sandared IFK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Leonardo Bokelund hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Leonardo Bokelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Vemdalen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Bokelund came free, but Vidar Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vemdalen FK's Bo Runberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 48th minute Allan Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Vemdalen FK's Vidar Hybbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Bokelund in the 51st minute of play. Nils-Emil Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hedlund in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vemdalen FK's goalkeeper Vidar Hybbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Sandared IFK's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Pihlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börge Åström. After a defensive mix-up in Vemdalen FK's zone, Robustiano Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Hybbert came out of the goal and Robustiano Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Bokelund in the 62nd minute of play forced Vemdalen FK's goalkeeper Vidar Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sandared IFK fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Sandared IFK's Leonardo Bokelund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nils-Emil Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hedlund in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandared IFK's Mats Gummeson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nils-Emil Pihlgren made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Börge Åström sent off a good shot on target. Allan Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nils-Emil Pihlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Sture Nyberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vemdalen FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandared IFK the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Vemdalen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Vidar Hybbert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Jon went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The Sandared IFK fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Sandared IFK's Leonardo Bokelund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vemdalen FK's goalkeeper Vidar Hybbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vidar Hybbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bokelund in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sandared IFK fully deserved thier win.
