After a defensive mix-up in Gamers's zone, Josef Blomberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Bergfelt came out of the goal and Josef Blomberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Hake during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Biagio Cosi hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Säter's goal looked a bit too open when Kim-André Olstad came free, but Arvid Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Cosi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Göransson saved Säter from getting behind. If Kim-André Olstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Blomberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Biagio Cosi had several of the Säter's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Arvid Göransson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Säter's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Biagio Cosi 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Egil Månsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Bergfelt. Gamers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute Ronny Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Söderström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvid Göransson having to make a save. Kim-André Olstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Göransson having to interfere. Arvid Göransson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Roger Bergfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Blomberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Säter supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gamers's performance. The match ended with a win for Gamers.
