The tension between the SleddKnicks and the Tribal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of SleddKnicks:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tribal FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ingvar Olofsson, was totally fooled by Tribal FC's João Cardoso, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Cardoso got free with Ingvar Olofsson in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SleddKnicks's Olov Widberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Tribal FC's Olov Lindström in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SleddKnicks's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, SleddKnicks's Ingvar Olofsson got control of the ball when Patric Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patric Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ingvar Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Patric Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Palben in the 19th minute of play forced Tribal FC's goalkeeper Dennis Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Dennis Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Ström in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, SleddKnicks's Ingvar Olofsson got control of the ball when Olov Lindström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SleddKnicks's Olov Widberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes SleddKnicks got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Holmgren. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Lindström to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Tribal FC got a freekick which was hit by Olov Lindström. Dennis Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Lindström in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Olofsson saved SleddKnicks from getting behind. The supporters of SleddKnicks booed when Tribal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, SleddKnicks's Sture Salkvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sture Salkvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SleddKnicks protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sture Salkvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in SleddKnicks's zone, Patric Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Olofsson came out of the goal and Patric Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tribal FC booed when SleddKnicks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SleddKnicks getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Malcolm Holmgren hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SleddKnicks defense, Fritz Brodin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Olofsson. The SleddKnicks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Olofsson should have stopped the shot. Tribal FC's Olov Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SleddKnicks's Malcolm Holmgren got a free kick in the 94th minute. João Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Olofsson having to interfere. Tribal FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
