The Bolltrollarnas IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olof Hjortberg should have stopped the shot. Arne Gustavsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Uno Dahlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Uno Dahlman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Nilsson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to Gullringen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ivar Tomasson hit a great ball. With his leg Alexander Nilsson managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Bolltrollarnas IF's Uno Dahlman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Melker Asklund came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bolltrollarnas IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Asklund couldn't finish the play. Uno Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Bolltrollarnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. Bolltrollarnas IF's Olof Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Siöman in the 29th minute of play. Gullringen's Alexander Nilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Asklund in the 30th minute of play. Uno Dahlmans short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Alexander Nilsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute of the game, Uno Dahlman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Morgan Lööf fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gullringen's protests and gave Morgan Lööf a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gullringen! 2-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Andy Stolpe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bo Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Stolpe to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexander Nilsson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bolltrollarnas IF's Bo Jonsson. But to his dismay, Bo Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, Gullringen's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Melin came free, but Alexander Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Stolpe in the 58th minute of play forced Gullringen's goalkeeper Alexander Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Mikael Siöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bo Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Stolpe in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bolltrollarnas IF's Olof Hjortberg got control of the ball when Mikael Siöman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes, Andy Stolpe made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gullringen's Alexander Nilsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bolltrollarnas IF's Andy Stolpe in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gullringen's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Hök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
