Sparkaspring BK's Fabrizio Tacco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sparkaspring BK from getting a goal against them. Kevin Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Kielstedt having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 40th minute when Kjell Skager elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Karl-Johan Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerfärnebo RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Tham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
