Ludwig Blomkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Lidberg having to interfere. Lagan's Kristoffer Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Blomkvist in the 40th minute of play. If Ludwig Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lagan's Christoffer Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Åke Hägglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bo Siöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakarias Hegg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
