Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nämdö's Karl-Johan Melander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Odeen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Hafström in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Kävlinge's Peter Hafström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Odeen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Åström to maneuver through the defense. Nämdö's Karl-Johan Melander managed to work through Kävlinge's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Karl-Johan Melander dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Pontus Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tord Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Nämdö's Tord Lundqvist threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Johan Melander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Nämdö booed when Kävlinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Nämdö's Mathias Bark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tord Lundqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nämdö reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Nämdö's zone, Arne Nordlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Odeen came out of the goal and Arne Nordlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Hafström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nämdö's Karl-Johan Melander in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tord Lundqvist was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kävlinge through an amazing save. Pontus Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tord Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nämdö's Martin Odeen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Hultstrand in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nämdö defense, Ralf Hultstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Odeen. The Nämdö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Odeen should have stopped the shot. Peter Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Odeen having to interfere. A collision led to Kävlinge getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jens-Ola Eckegren hit a great ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Hultstrand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kävlinge getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Charlie Åström hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Mathias Bark sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kävlinge's Tord Lundqvist didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Johan Melander in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Lundqvist saved Kävlinge from getting behind. Peter Hafström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontus Lind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf Hultstrand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Odeen having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Nämdö's Mathias Bark got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Nämdö's Martin Odeen got control of the ball when Peter Hafström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Hafström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Odeen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Kävlinge's Peter Hafström. But to his dismay, Peter Hafström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jonas Waller hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nämdö's zone, Peter Hafström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Odeen came out of the goal and Peter Hafström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Nämdö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. When Kävlinge's Ralf Hultstrand in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nämdö's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nämdö's zone, Charlie Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Odeen came out of the goal and Charlie Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Hultstrand in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Odeen saved Nämdö from getting behind. Kävlinge's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
