Isac Ljungberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 24 played minutes Göteborgs United got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Thidén. Kennet Haegg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasper Västerberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isac Ljungberg to make the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Göteborgs United fully deserved thier win.
