When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Gabriel Hök put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Torbjörn Västlund. A collision led to Smedstorp IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Björn Lindkvist hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Fagerfjäll got a freekick which was hit by Asker Engelstoft. Augusto Mouricio might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell-Arne Salqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Mouricio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Adrian Ahlquist made a precise shot to the right of Torbjörn Västlund. Fagerfjäll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 93rd minute Vilhelm Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smedstorp IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
