In the 16th minute, Lycke's Kjell Kjellqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Vestlund. Kåre Vestlund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Kåre Vestlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickard Jansson in the 19th minute. Västerhaninge BK's Kåre Vestlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Malmström in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Kiempe during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Ivar Malmström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Emil Källberg rounded Västerhaninge BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
